Ellie Cho
Ellie Cho is passionate about computer science and teaching kids. As a Mathnasium tutor, a Korean school teacher, and a camp counselor, she has plenty of experience of and love for guiding kids. In the class AP Computer Science AB, she became proficient in Java and did a machine learning internship over the summer. As an active member of Society of Women Engineers, she expressed her passion for coding through app development. She hopes to help girls explore their interests in computer science, as she has noticed that far less girls are enrolled in technology-related classes than boys the older she gets.

Jessica Lam
Jessica Lam attended Westview High School in San Diego, California. She has always had a passion for computer science. After attending multiple computer science related camps and classes, Jessica realized there is a lack of girls interested in computer science because of the stereotype that ‘boys are better at coding than girls’. As a girl who is interested in computer science, Jessica aspires to prove that girls can code just as well as boys. Thus, Jessica is working to encourage girls to become interested in computer science and other STEM related fields with the Society of Women Engineers at Westview High School and within Science Olympiad at Black Mountain Middle School. Overall, Jessica hopes to inspire her peers and students to pursue computer science.
